About Us

The Society of Community Health Caregivers as founded in February 2020 by graduates in Community Health from various universities and colleges across all 47 counties. Its primary mission was to amplify the voice of Community Health professionals and advocate for the broader interests of Community Health. The Society was officially registered under the provisions of CAP 108 of the Societies Act, by the Registrar of Societies in November 2020.

Research and Innovation
Promote evidence-based practices through research initiatives to address emerging health challenges. Foster innovation in community health delivery systems.
Community Health Students chapter
Promote a platform for Community Health Student in order to mentor the next generation of community health professionals. Provide opportunities for workshops and networking for community health students in Kenya.
Policy Advocacy and Development
Engage in the formulation, review, and advocacy of community health policies. Collaborate with government and stakeholders to influence legislation affecting community health services delivery.
Multisectoral Collaboration
Partner with organizations across health, education, technology, and governance sectors. Strengthen cross-sectoral partnerships for effective resource utilization and service delivery for our society.
Digital Learning and Knowledge Sharing
Promote our digital learning platform by offering courses, webinars, and resources for community health profession growth. Provide a digital library to share best practices, research papers, case studies and best practices for members.
Professional Development and Capacity Building
Offer continuous professional development (CPD) opportunities for members. Organize conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance skills and competencies. Recognize and reward excellence in the field through certifications and awards.
